TEMPESTAD Feature Documentary

Two women recount kidnappings in this haunting portrayal of violence and corruption in Mexico. Their stories are told through the voice of one victim and by the mother of another, who performs in a circus. The abducted women themselves remain faceless, their own fear and pain mirrored instead in the faces and imagery of other Mexican people trying to survive in a society where sudden disappearances and corruption have become frighteningly familiar. — Vicki Warren
