DAVID CROSBY: REMEMBER MY NAME Anthem

Twice-inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, David Crosby, co-founder of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash, has always held his own abilities and accomplishments in high regard. Beyond Crosby’s achievements as a musician, what makes A.J. Eaton’s revelatory music documentary special is the extent to which the artist being profiled questions and re-examines his flaws and decisions over the years. With surprising candor, Crosby looks back, with wit and wisdom, over a musical career spanning six decades, and describes how his ego has sabotaged relationships with bandmates, friends and lovers. DAVID CROSBY also profiles an artist still very much in love with the one thing that has driven his whole life: the desire to write music and sing his heart out in front of an audience.

Born in Idaho, A.J. Eaton is a filmmaker with a unique background in narrative, documentary and music production. Eaton earned a degree in political science and became interested in stories of activism and democracy, working on a number of progressive political campaigns. DAVID CROSBY: REMEMBER MY NAME is his first feature documentary.
