EXIT 12 Short Films

Description

After two tours in the Iraq War, U.S. Marine Roman Baca came home a different person. Now, as the founder and artistic director of the Exit12 Dance Company in New York City, Roman, with other veterans and military families, uses dance to tell stories about the effects of war.

Bios

Mohammad Gorjestani is an Iranian-American filmmaker. His films have screened at festivals worldwide and featured in publications such as VICE and The Guardian. He was named among Filmmaker Magazine’s 25 New Faces of Independent Film in 2014, and is a two-time recipient of SFFILM’s KRF Filmmaking Grant for his feature in development.
