Description

Bruce Franks, Jr., is a 33-year-old battle rapper, Ferguson activist and state representative from St. Louis who has overcome unspeakable loss to become one of the most exciting and unapologetic young leaders in the country today.

Bios

Smriti Mundhra’s debut feature, A SUITABLE GIRL, premiered at the 2017 Tribeca Film Festival and was awarded the Albert Maysles Best Documentary Director prize. She is currently in production on a docuseries for Netflix and her first TV ad, for Bumble, starring Priyanka Chopra, is on screens worldwide.

Sami Khan co-directed THE LAST OUT, a documentary supported by the Sundance Institute that follows four Cuban baseball players and their dangerous journeys into the U.S. Khoya. Khan’s fiction feature debut was selected for the Tribeca Film Institute All Access fellowship.
