Description

An account of filmmaker Bastien Dubois’ multiple unsuccessful attempts to initiate a dialogue with his grandfather, who had been a soldier in the French-Algerian war.

Bios

Bastien Dubois graduated from Supinfocom Valenciennes. After he hitchhiked from the north of France to Istanbul, he had the idea of making an animated travel log: MADAGASCAR, A JOURNEY DIARY, on which he based a TV program, FACES FROM PLACES. In 2013, he released CARGO CULT.
