Bios

Marlén Viñayo is a documentary director and producer. She has lived in El Salvador since 2013, where she founded the production company La Jaula Abierta. Her films CACHADA – THE OPPORTUNITY (2019) and UNFORGIVABLE (2020) have been screened at more than 70 film festivals and awarded at IDFA, Hot Docs, SXSW and Slamdance, among others.
