This documentary follows a group of New Orleans mothers as they struggle to care for their families and themselves throughout the pandemic. Utilizing video diaries, it provides an intimate portrait of mothering during a time of crisis.

Kiyoko McCrae is a Japanese-American filmmaker and Director of Documentary Programming and Filmmaker Labs at the New Orleans Film Society. Films include ARTIST IN EXILE, COME HOME and BLACK BACK. She is currently developing her first feature documentary, WITHIN, WITHIN, with support from CAAM and SDF.
