Experience films and conversations that spark your curiosity and challenge your worldview. You can attend AFI DOCS via a pass or tickets (or “unlocks”), which allow for individual film or event purchase. Starting on June 8, you will have the opportunity to pre-order individual films, programs, events and special presentations* you would like to view during AFI DOCS, June 22-27. We will have limited in-person screenings at the AFI Silver Theatre with individual tickets for sale. New films and events will be scheduled each day of the festival, with captivating conversations and Q&As with the filmmakers following nearly every film. Some Q&As will be live with some ability to interact via chat; if you miss a live Q&A, a recorded version will be made available to view.
Due to restrictions from filmmakers and film distributors, films and events are available for a limited time and with limited capacity – and they can sell out. We strongly recommend selecting or purchasing the films and events you want to attend before the festival begins on June 22.
Once a film you have selected becomes available, you will have 48 hours to start watching. Once you begin, you’ll have 48 hours to finish watching. After you unlock a program, note the amount of time you have to begin and finish watching a particular film. Special Presentations are one-night-only events and will have unique unlock and viewing windows that will be listed on the screening page.
